So I have owned something for about 13 years now, 3 cases of old slides containing about 6000 photos. I acquired them from the old folks home I worked at. I believe it was one of those cases were the person passes away and no one alive is there to collect the their belongings or if there is does care to. The people cleaning out the house didn't know what to do with them and at the time for some reason I was the person people at my workplace thought of as a artist and they gave them to me. For years they have been in my dad's attic and not to long ago I got them back and started to scan a few. The slides remind me of a lot of things, one I feel like I have something that is to be a value at least to someone. There are pictures in these cases from the 50's to the late 70's and they are taken by someone that was taking pictures at a time most people didn't have camera's, possibly for a news or magazine source. He was obviously wealthy and the pictures cover most every major city in the world. I would hopefully like to return them to the family if there is one. I would love to see my grandfathers old pictures if he had a collection like this. The other thing is I think I might have become a lot like this guy as far as taking so many pictures.
All the photos are numbered and titled some are dated. This is titled Bing Crosby at The Seminole Golf Club. Thought I would upload a set to show you a small example of the pictures. Click to see set.
